Welcome to "Guesthouse-Nanbuya" website.

We are a pure Japanese traditional style guesthouse with old Japanese style building.

We have 8rooms and We have a capacity of 30persons.

All the rooms are Japanese-style room with "Tatami".

*No TV & no AC in the room.

*No washroom in the room. We have sharing toilets for men & women.

We have a hot spring "Onsen".

Our "Onsen" is very good for health and skin.

We have two sharing Onsen bath for men & women.

You can take a "Onsen" bath 24hours.

*We provide shampoo & conditioner & face towel(no bath towel).

"Short-stay plan for Onsen"

*No room, No meals, No Towels, bathing only for "Onsen".

*"Onsen" is sharing bath.

*Service Hours : AM11:00 to PM18:00.

*You can use public area for rest after Onsen bathing.

60minutes by Local Bus(Summer season only) + 10minutes walk.

*From Misawa Airport to "Nanbuya" :

*From Aomori Airport to "Nanbuya" :

60minutes by Car.

*From Aomori station to "Nanbuya" :

120minutes by Local Bus(Summer season only) + 10minutes walk.

*From Towada IC(Tohoku Highway) to "Nanbuya" :

100minutes by Car.

"Place to see"

1. Oirase Stream (10minutes by Car, or 30minutes Walk)

This stream is very famous as picturesque place flows from Lake Towada.There is trail along the stream and it is very good for peaceful walk in the forest.

2. Lake Towada (30minutes by Car)

This caldera lake is the 3rd deepest lake in Japan.It has bright blue color and it comes from the great depth.This lake is very popular, and many tourist visit this lake every year.

3. Hakkouda Mountains (40minutes by Car)

is a volcanic mountain range that consists of more than a dozen stratovolcanoes and lava domes.the highest peak in the range is Mount Ohdake.

This range is famous autumn colors destinations and famous for their high-altitude wetlands.

the Hakkouda Mountains along with Lake Towada & the Oirase Stream make up the Towada-Hachimantai National Park.

4. Matsumi Waterfall (6hours trekking from Oirase Stream /Round trip)

This is famous as "Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls".
